Spring 2024 Academic Calendar

Intersession

This is a super concentrated session that is attached to the spring semester for enrollment and financial aid purposes but runs for three-weeks between the end of fall semester and up to the start of the regular spring session. Classes in this session are typically online.

Wintersession

This is a concentrated six-week session, also attached to the spring semester, that starts the same date as intersession, soon after the end of fall semester, but runs through the first month of the regular spring session. Classes may be any modality, or a combination of online asynchronous or synchronous in-person instruction.

16-Week Session

This is the only session that meets the entire semester, 15 weeks of instruction followed by an exam week. It is the standard, or “regular” session. Classes may be any modality, or a combination of online asynchronous or synchronous in-person instruction.

Non-Standard Session

This session houses all classes whose calendars do not match a standard session but start and end within the start and end dates of the 16-week semester. They are typically less than seven weeks, and some may be as short as one week long. Their actual meeting times are visible in class details.

8-Week Session I

This session meets in any instruction type but will only meet the first half of the semester. Classes will be intensive, covering 15 weeks of material in only 8 weeks.

This session meets during the second half of the semester. Classes will be intensive, covering 15 weeks of material in only 8 weeks.
