Indiana State Teachers Association Justine M Harrell Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is open to a high school senior who plans to become a teacher. The $1,000 scholarship is awarded for a total of four years if the student maintains a 3.0 GPA enrolled in a teaching curriculum at an accredited college or university in Indiana. Applicants for the need-based scholarship must also meet the income criteria of at or below 200 percent of the federal poverty line.
Criteria for selection includes academic achievement, leadership in co-curricular activities and community involvement, submission of an essay and recommendations and financial need.
