Our Master of Science in Education (M.S.Ed.), with a major in secondary education, is a comprehensive graduate program that will provide advanced expertise through intensive coursework and challenging field placements working with diverse students to help you move ahead in your career.
The program requires between 30 and 36 credit hours, depending on the optional concentration chosen. Optional concentrations can lead to additional licensing areas such as educational leadership, computer education, teaching English language learners (ENL/ESL), gifted and talented/high ability, music, and reading. Other concentrations can fulfill qualifications for teaching dual credit courses in areas including biology, chemistry, English, history, mathematics, and psychology.
