The IU Southeast School of Education offers coursework required for teachers to renew and/or enhance their license.
Courses may be taken that will fulfill both Indiana and Kentucky requirements for license renewal.

Applying for Indiana license renewal
- Complete coursework required to earn renewal. Non-degree status is available for individuals seeking 6 graduate credit hours for license renewal. Candidates seeking graduate program admission can enroll as non-degree-seeking students and take up to 6 graduate credit hours while completing applications for full admission to a graduate or licensure program. Courses used for license renewal must have been earned after the issue date of the license you are trying to renew.
- Complete the application for license renewal in Indiana or application for license renewal in Kentucky. (A fee is required to submit an application.)
