Graduate Programs
The Graduate Program of the School of Education at IU Southeast offers degree and licensure programs as well as license renewal opportunities. These programs meet the requirements set forth by both the Indiana Department of Education and the Kentucky Educational Professional Standards Board.
Degree Programs
Indiana and Kentucky teachers can add areas of specialization and endorsement to their existing license by completion of coursework and testing. IU Southeast School of Education offers the following license addition programs (or graduate "area of specialization" programs.)

- Special Education License
Kentucky candidates should be aware of the Kentucky Educational Professional Standards Board requirements for licensure from an out-of-state institution found in regulation 16 KAR 4:030.
Graduate Certificates
Alternative Teaching Licensure Programs
IU Southeast offers alternative certification programs for individuals seeking a teaching license. These programs are designed as a fast-track option to licensure for individuals who already have a bachelor's degree in an area other than education. These licensing programs can also be used as part of a master's degree.
