Kentucky candidates should be aware of the Kentucky Educational Professional Standards Board requirements for licensure from an out-of-state institution found in regulation 16 KAR 4:030.
Alternative Teaching Licensure Programs
IU Southeast offers alternative certification programs for individuals seeking a teaching license. These programs are designed as a fast-track option to licensure for individuals who already have a bachelor's degree in an area other than education. These licensing programs can also be used as part of a master's degree.
