Growing Tomorrow's STEM Teachers (GTST) Grant Program
Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Teacher Recruitment Grant
IU Southeast School of Education, through an Indiana Council for Higher Education grant,
seeks to enhance recruitment, preparation, and education of highly qualified pre-service and
in-service STEM teachers in Indiana school corporations. The GTST Grant will pay for:
- 18 graduate credit hours, plus fees, and money for “cost of attendance” for current
teachers seeking to become Dual-Credit certified high school teachers in science,
mathematics, or technology. - 18 graduate credit hours, plus fees, and money for “cost of attendance” for post-graduate
students (Advance to Teaching candidates) seeking to obtain initial teaching license in
science, mathematics, or technology. - 1 year of full-time enrollment tuition plus fees, and money for “cost of attendance” for
undergraduates seeking to become initial licensed teachers in science, mathematics, or
technology.
