From this page, you can search for a specific database, or browse by title, subject, content type, or vendor. You can also use the Databases by Subject page to browse our databases by subject.
You can browse or search for a specific journal using our Find full-text Journals A-Z List.
IUCAT Library Catalog
To find books and media, use IUCAT, the online catalog of the Indiana University Libraries. IUCAT provides access to print and online books and periodicals, recordings, DVDs and streaming videos, U.S. government publications, and other materials available here at IU Southeast as well as at the other libraries in the IU system.
OneSearch
OneSearch provides access to the majority of IU Southeast Library's resources. Rather than searching in IUCAT for books, Academic Search Complete or JSTOR for peer-reviewed journal articles, and Gale Virtual Reference Library for encyclopedia entries, you can do one search in OneSearch and retrieve results for all types of materials. OneSearch provides access to journal, magazine, and newspaper articles, books and e-books, government documents, DVDs and streaming videos, and more. The default search in OneSearch will return only items that are either available through an IU Southeast subscribed database or are available in the IU Southeast Library; however, you can modify this to include citations and abstracts as well (using the Limiters on the results page). Guest access is available for non-IU Southeast students, faculty, and staff.
Reference Resources
From dictionaries and encyclopedias to statistical almanacs and style guides, the Reference Resources page provides sources for finding quick facts, statistics, dates, biographical information, broad subject overviews, and other useful information.
Government Publications
The Government Publications page provides access to print and online information published by federal, state, and international governmental organizations. Many of these resources are available through IUCAT as well.
The IU Southeast Library is a congressionally designated depository for U.S. Government documents. Public access to the government documents collection is guaranteed by public law (Title 44 United States Code).
