ILTE operates New Faculty Orientation for both full-time and part-time (adjunct) faculty.
Full-time Faculty Orientation
This multi-day event, held each August, prepares new full-time faculty for their first semester at IU Southeast. Faculty get the opportunity to meet university leaders and make connections with new colleagues. Items discussed include measurable learning objectives, policies and procedures, and what to do on the first day of class. This orientation is designed so that faculty members will work with other new full-time colleagues and learn where to find assistance for any particular issue.

Part-time Faculty Orientation
This event is held three times a year. This brief, evening session primarily covers policies and procedures, but attendees also learn important information about university policies, available resources, and what IU Southeast students are like.
