Consultations
Faculty can meet one-on-one with a consultant to discuss course design, active learning, accessibility, classroom management, and other topics. Consultations can occur face-to-face in the ILTE, by phone (for brief questions), via video chat, and over email. All meetings are confidential. Reservations are preferred, so that we can make sure the area is staffed as needed, but walk-ins are welcome as well.
ILTE Faculty Lab
The ILTE provides lab space for faculty to work in. If you need some space to work, are looking for assistance or are just looking for a place to work in peace, the ILTE Lab is available. Reservations are preferred, so that we can make sure the area is staffed as needed, but walk-ins are welcome as well.
Equipment Checkout
The ILTE has a variety of equipment for faculty to check out to assist them with their teaching/learning goals. We have a variety of notebook computers, LCD projectors, digital still and video camera, as well as an assortment of purpose driven gear. If you are looking for checkout equipment for your teaching/learning efforts, please give a call or stop and let us consult with you.
LMS Support
Canvas is the official learning management system for Indiana University. ILTE’s consultants are the local administrators for Canvas, providing training in best practices and helping to troubleshoot. Please note that the ILTE works with faculty; students with questions about Canvas should contact the IT Help Desk.
