Cohorts
The ILTE offers several cohorts designed to guide faculty through the course development process and provide them with practical skills needed to create an effective course that matches their unique teaching style and course content. Inclusion in the cohort is through a competitive process; completing the cohort successfully is accompanied by a $1000 stipend. Cohorts follow a semester calendar and include a robust schedule of "homework," feedback from ILTE, and interaction with colleagues.
Online Cohorts
The online cohort is designed for faculty who are new to online teaching or want to brush up on their skills. It is typically offered in the spring semester. The cohort is offered completely online, using Canvas. As a member of the cohort, faculty are placed in the student role, allowing them to see the Canvas tools from the student perspective. Past cohort participants have found this to be a valuable part of the experiences because it helps them choose what tools they want their students to use.

Hybrid Cohorts
This cohort helps faculty develop their own hybrid course. The hybrid cohort is typically offered in the fall semester. The cohort is offered in a hybrid or blended fashion, using Canvas for the online portion of the cohort. This models the hybrid experience, allowing faculty to experience the student perspective.
