The Master of Science in Education with a major in secondary education is a performance-based assessment program. The program. Performance of candidate work is reviewed at admission, upon completion of each core course, and at the completion of all requirements for the degree. The program includes assessment of professional dispositions and the completion of a “Teacher as Researcher” inquiry project. Candidates complete field-based assignments which can be completed at the school where a candidate is employed.
