During the first year of college, it is important to confirm your major is a good fit, explore career options, and make a career plan for how to develop professionally in your upcoming years of college.

To get the best possible outcomes and to complete your class assignment, please follow the steps below. Keep in mind that these resources are just enough to get you started. If you have additional questions or would like to talk about your career plan in more detail, please set up an appointment to come meet with a career coach!

Step 1: Personality Types

Read the personality types at the link below and self-select the top two personality groups that you relate to the most. Fill them in on the indicated section of the Traitify handout presented to you. We will compare these to your actual assessment results.

Step 2: Traitify Assessment

Traitify is an online personality assessment that uses pictures to help you find out more about your personality type. Once you find out what your personality type is, the assessment will recommend possible career options, people you may enjoy working with, and what type of work environment you will thrive in.
