Cost and Financial Aid

Invest in your future at IU Southeast

IU Southeast offers the most affordable 4-year degree in the Kentuckiana region, and our students graduate with little to no debt. We know higher education is a significant investment of personal and financial resources. When you’re budgeting for your education, it helps to know what you’ll be paying. We’ve made it easy by breaking costs down for you with our standard cost of attendance (COA) estimate.

Breaking it down

Your actual costs for housing and food, books and supplies, transportation, and personal expenses will vary based on the following:

  • The number of credit hours you take
  • Whether you’re an undergraduate or graduate student
  • Whether you live in Indiana or our Kentucky reciprocity counties, or somewhere else
  • Your personal choices
  • Your travel habits

Your cost of attendance may differ from these estimates and will not be what you will owe the university.

Kentucky residents

A trip across the river can cut your college costs. If you live in Bullitt, Henry, Jefferson, Meade, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, or Trimble counties in Kentucky, you're eligible for in-state tuition at IU Southeast. How? It's a great program called Reciprocity.
