Save on tuition with the Indiana College Core

Save over $8,000 on your first-year tuition by transferring your Indiana College Core (ICC) to IU Southeast. The ICC is a 30-credit block of general education courses taken in high school that transfer to any public college in Indiana. With the ICC, you’ll complete your general education requirements before starting college, allowing you to focus on your major from day one. As an IU student, use the Advanced College Project, you’ll receive top-tier instruction and an official IU transcript. IU Southeast accepts the ICC from all providers.

Certificate Requirements

The ICC requires high school students to complete 30 credit hours in the following competencies:

  • Written Communication: 3-6 credits
  • Speaking & Listening: 3-6 credits
  • Quantitative Reasoning: 3-12 credits
  • Scientific Ways of Knowing: 3-12 credits
  • Social & Behavioral Ways of Knowing: 3-12 credits
  • Humanistic & Artistic Ways of Knowing: 3-12 credits
