Attend IU Southeast as a visiting/non-degree student
IU Southeast welcomes visiting/non-degree students. This is you if you want to enroll at IU Southeast for a limited period of time, and do not plan to pursue a degree. See if you meet one of the following situations:
- Individuals interested in completing a class for personal interest
- Individuals interested in completing a class for job-seeking skills or advancement
- Students visiting from another college or university
- High school students interested in special high school admission status (see qualifications)
Steps to Apply
Step 1
Provide required documents.
Visiting and non-degree students must submit the following for admission: an official college transcript (sent directly from the institution's transcript service) and, if no college credit has been earned, an official high school transcript. Transcripts can be sent electronically to ius.admissions@iu.edu
Step 2
Set up your IU network account
Set up your IU network identification username and password to access academic services, registration, and financial aid by visiting the Account Management system with your university ID from your admission letter.
STEP 3
Get advising help
The Advising Center for Exploratory Students (ACES) at IU Southeast exists to help students discover what major or coursework is the best fit.
