Whether you have a major already picked or you’re exploring your options, we’re here to help you gain serious learning and earning potential. It all begins with your academic advisor who will help you define your path, then progresses as you explore university life through First-Year Seminar and Pathways or Career Courses.

You will build your connections and community along the way through our learning communities. No matter your chosen path, we promise hands-on experiences that make learning fun and meaningful, not your dull lectures that drone on and on.

Is the IU Southeast approach effective? Absolutely. Over 85% of our recent graduates said their classes were relevant to their career goals, and 85% of them accepted jobs that paid more than $45,900 a year in their first year following graduation.

“This field trip was very fun and was nice to be able to get some real-life examples of invasive species, a topic we have been discussing in class. We were able to see real life organisms and talk with an expert on how these different species affect our ecosystem. As a visual and active learner, this really helps me grasps the content we have been discussing in class and relate it to my own life.”
