Scholarships and financial aid

Your priority deadline to apply for scholarships and financial aid is March 10th. We recommend beginning in October, when the scholarship application and FAFSA open.

The IU Southeast school code is 001817.

Application deadline

Applications for admission and all supporting materials, including any required transcripts, must be received 10 days prior to the beginning of the semester in which you plan to enroll (7 days prior to summer sessions).

Next steps and registration

Information is mailed to admitted students in early April. Please submit payment for your tuition and fees by the deadline printed on your statement of account.

How do you decide who is admitted?

These are our standards and requirements for admission to IU Southeast:

  • Your admission to IU Southeast is considered primarily on the basis of high school curriculum and GPA.
  • Indiana students are expected to have completed or be on track to complete Indiana's Core 40 diploma.
  • Applicants from outside Indiana should have completed or be on track to complete 26 "college prep" units.

What do I need to apply?

You'll need your official high school transcript or state high school equivalency scores. If your high school participates, you may be able to request a transcript online through Parchment.

Should I submit test scores?

You may wish to submit standardized test scores to show your academic potential beyond high school performance. Test scores may be required for select merit-based scholarships and could help us better understand more about you as an individual, but submitting them for admission is optional. Preference is not given to those who submit scores over those who do not.
