Field Trips
Faculty from the IU Southeast Fine Art Program bring off-campus learning experiences into their curriculum during regular field trips to regional and national art and cultural centers.
Recent trips include Chicago and New York City, and day trips to the Speed Museum, American Art and Clay Company (AMACO), Kentucky Mudworks, Yew Dell Botanical Gardens, among others. Each year, students and faculty also attend art and design conferences, including the Society for Photographic Education, the Mid-America Print Council, the National Council on the Education of Ceramic Art, Southern Graphics Council International, and the College Art Association.
