Tuition Reciprocity
Students from Bullitt, Henry, Jefferson, Meade, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer and Trimble counties in Kentucky are eligible for in-state tuition at IU Southeast.
Sponsors/Tuition Reimbursement
You might also be eligible for tuition reimbursement through your employer. Your employer will have to become authorized as your sponsor through the IU Southeast Office of the Bursar.
Financial Aid
Graduate students are eligible for student loans. Here are some tips to help you get started.
- A degree-seeking graduate student must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) every year to apply for Stafford Loans.
- Graduate students must also enroll in at least four credit hours to be eligible for Stafford Loans.
- Graduate students are also eligible for federal unsubsidized student loans (up to $138,500) if they complete the FAFSA and are enrolled at the minimum part-time status.
Post-baccalaureate students are not eligible for financial aid, but may become eligible by enrolling in a degree-seeking program.

Scholarships and Fellowships
Graduate merit fellowships are awarded to first-term grad students. The award selection is made by IU Southeast Graduate School representatives. $1,000 is awarded each year. For these and other fellowships linked to specific programs, consult your program director of visit the Scholarships page.
