Indiana University Funding Opportunities
The IU Office of the Vice President for International Affairs supports faculty research and teaching through partnerships with institutions of higher education overseas, exchange programs, grants, services to international scholars and their families, support for developing study abroad programs, and tools for navigating the policies and procedures governing international activities.
Financial support for new overseas study programs IU faculty members can apply for grants to develop new overseas study programs. These grants provide funding to explore the academic and logistical arrangements for prospective faculty-led IU study abroad programs.
Innovation in Teaching Award
The Innovation in Teaching Award, sponsored by ILTE, recognizes the effort put forth by faculty who have redesigned their courses or introduced new courses with innovative, research-based approaches to the practice of teaching, using new methods and/or technologies, with an intentional emphasis on how these innovations improved or facilitated student learning. The recipients of the award will receive $1,500.00. Awards are presented at a spring lunch reception that honors innovative faculty.
Additional SAGA Grant
The SAGA committee has a $500 grant for faculty development.
