Digital materials accessibility

We are committed to supporting the research journey of every patron by providing equitable access to the materials in our collections. We strive to meet and exceed WCAG standards on the IU Southeast Library website and other online platforms, and we seek to make all reasonable accommodations for patrons who require accessible versions of our materials.

While many of the materials in our digital collections are fully accessible to patrons using screen readers and other accessibility tools, some materials may not meet current accessibility standards. Patrons who identify digital materials that are not accessible are encouraged to contact our team, and we will make every effort to create accessible versions in a timely manner.

If you have questions about the accessibility of digital materials in our collections, please contact us at selibres@iu.edu.

Assistive Technology Center (ATC)

The Assistive Technology Center (ATC) is located in Room 208 on the IU Southeast Library’s main level. This space features a large-sized Dell touchscreen computer with an easy-grip mouse and ergonomic keyboard. The workstation desk is electronically adjustable, allowing users to customize its position for comfort and accessibility. A CCTV text magnifier is located just outside the room for additional visual support.

This space is made possible through generous funding from the Caesars Foundation of Floyd County.
