The Academic Affairs Diversity Coordinator promotes diversity efforts on behalf of faculty at IU Southeast.
Among the duties of the coordinator are overseeing the Academy of Diversity and Inclusive Education (ADIE), working with The Office of Study Abroad and Global Awareness and Gender Studies, promoting research in diversity through faculty fellowships, planning a triennial Diversity & Inclusivity symposium hosted at IU Southeast, planning and supporting events, training and cross-campus communication related to diversity, and working with colleagues in Student Affairs and the Office of Equity and Diversity to further the university's strategic goals in commitment, curriculum, climate, and population.
