Indiana University Southeast’s resources, structures, and processes are sufficient to fulfill its mission, improve the quality of its educational offerings, and respond to future challenges and opportunities. Through shared governance and engaged faculty and staff, we have been able to meet the challenges occurring. Our processes ensure we hire qualified staff and IU Southeast provides ongoing development opportunities for faculty and staff to ensure the skills needed to provide necessary services and courses in online, hybrid and face-to-face modalities are provided. As a data-informed university, we capture valuable information from our students and share the results widely through various committees and reports, so all areas of campus contribute to solutions that consider these results. Our resources are used effectively, and the assessment of courses, programs and co-curricular units is considered as faculty and staff work with administration to consider budgetary decisions. Our technology resources provide students, faculty, and staff with the online access they need, and IU Southeast provides and maintains the latest software to help developing and current professionals with the tools to complete their tasks efficiently. The administration communicates effectively with internal and external constituents as they develop budget and plans for the university. All significant decisions have gathered faculty, staff, and leadership opinions as we work together to create conditions for our students to achieve their goals. Our institution continues to enhance its assessment processes and works to improve effectiveness across all aspects of the institution.
