Baccalaureate/Doctor of Medicine Degree Scholarship Program
The Baccalaureate/Doctor of Medicine Degree Scholarship is open to Indiana residents in an effort to increase the number of physicians providing medical services to residents residing in Southeastern and Southern Indiana. The purpose of this scholarship program is to enhance the state's efforts in medical education, research and services, focusing on medical issues in Indiana.
Students applying for the scholarship program will be independently accepted into the undergraduate program at Indiana University Southeast and the medical degree program at Indiana University School of Medicine.
Scholarship eligibility
Students eligible to apply to the program will be residents of Indiana and meet the following criteria:
- a minimum SAT score of 1200, or composite RSAT score of 1290 on a single sitting, or an ACT composite score of 27 or higher.
- a high school grade point average of at least 3.5.
Scholarship information
The full cost of tuition for students in provided through the scholarship for eight semesters and will not exceed eight academic semesters.
On-campus housing costs will also be covered by the scholarship for students who choose to live on-campus. Campus housing is subject to availability. All students must apply to live on-campus.
