Greek Councils and Chapters
IU Southeast is home to eight fraternity and sorority chapters governed by three councils: the Interfraternity Council (IFC), the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), and the Panhellenic Council (PHC). All three governing councils are responsible for establishing and implementing policies, coordinating community-wide events, facilitating communication and marketing efforts, and providing programming and leadership development for their member chapters.
Interfraternity Council (IFC)
The Interfraternity Council (IFC) at IU Southeast serves as the local governing body of three fraternities: Kappa Sigma, Pi Kappa Alpha, and Tau Kappa Epsilon. Composed of a delegation from each fraternity, IFC, through its executive board and general body, works to promote the highest ideals of leadership, scholarship, service, and fraternalism among its member organizations.

National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC)
The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) is the umbrella organization for the historically American-American fraternities and sororities at IU Southeast. Comprised of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., NPHC’s purpose is to promote unity, expose members to the "service for life" philosophy, and foster leadership development and scholarship.

Panhellenic Council (PHC)
IU Southeast’s Panhellenic Council (PHC) is comprised of three national sororities that are members of the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC): Alpha Phi, Phi Sigma Sigma, and Sigma Kappa. Comprised of a strong executive board as well as dedicated chapter representatives, PHC acts as the central governing body for the sororities at IU Southeast and is actively involved with chapter development, primary recruitment, and programs and leadership opportunities for chapters and their members.
