Biography



C. Winston Haberer, a native of Louisville, Kentucky, attended the Louisville Art School where he studied etching with Alexander J. Van Leshout and printmaking under Sudduth Goff. He later studied in Chicago at the Arts Institute and the American Academy. His works hang in many collections, including the Library of Congress and the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C., the University of Massachusetts Amherst, the Kentucky Historical Society, the Denver Art Museum, the New York Public Library and the Art Institute of Chicago. As a member of the Wonderland Way Art Club, Haberer instructed many other artists on his etching techniques.
