Music Theory Placement Test
The Music Theory Placement Test is administered throughout the year by appointment. There are two available tests. One is a test for students with no university-level music theory or ear-training courses; the other test is designed for students who have completed university-level music theory and/or ear-training courses. Both tests are untimed.
When you make an appointment, please let us know which test you need. You will receive your test results from the IU Southeast School of Music.
