Grenadier Fitness Center

Student Life provides you with a Digital Student Planner online! You will find campus resources and valuable information for students. There is both an interactive and a non-interactive version.

There is also a printable calendar if you want to print out an 8.5" x 11" weekly calendar for your binder, using your personal printing allotment.

From housing and dining to technology and safety, IU Southeast offers a wide range of on-campus resources to support your daily life.

Student organizations

IU Southeast is home to dozens of student organizations (check them out in Grenadier Central). There are lots of ways to participate, including meetings, outreach, and events.

Our campus also enjoys an active Greek life.

How to start an organization

If you have an idea for a student organization but can't find a group that fits your specific interest, you can start one!

Here's how it works:

  • Gather a group of IU Southeast students.
    • You need a minimum of five to start an organization.
  • Choose an advisor.
    • This person must be a full-time employee of IU Southeast.
    • The person will need to complete paperwork agreeing to be an advisor.
    • Please talk with them before signing them up as an advisor.
  • Meet with Student Life to discuss:
    • Goals and ideas
    • Constitution and bylaws (we can provide you with a template)
    • Tips and tricks for growing your organization
  • Complete the registration for New Registered Student Organization.

Once you receive approval, you will be notified about your page on Grenadier Central. Make sure you read and understand the Registered Student Organization Handbook.

Please note: Your organization will be required to re-register yearly.

Event approval process

When your organization wants to host an event, follow these steps to get approval:

  • Go to your organization’s page on Grenadier Central.
    • Select the cog next your organization’s name on the navigation bar.
    • Go to the Events organization tool menu.
    • Complete the Event Submission.
      • This should be completed a minimum of 7 days before your event.
      • The submission will be reviewed by the necessary campus officials.
      • If there is any feedback, concerns, or questions, comments will be added to the submission.
  • Make sure to contact Dining Services to reserve a space on campus.
  • If you are interested in additional funding or co-sponsorship of your event with SGA, complete the RSO Funding Request Form.

Events approved and posted on the Grenadier Central Calendar will automatically populate on our campus calendar.
