Undergraduate Certificate in Web Programming

A student will acquire a strong background in problem-solving skills by completing two computer programming courses designed specifically for computer science majors. The CSCI-C 201/C202 sequence is required for CSCI majors.

All courses are 3 credit hours and require a grade of C or better unless otherwise noted.

Optional Tracks (one track is required)

Choose one option set from the following two tracks. Note: The course sets in the tracks cannot be mixed and matched. Students must select and complete a track in its entirety.

Informatics Track

  • INFO-I 330 - Legal and Social Informatics of Security
  • INFO-I 427 - Search Informatics

CSCI Track

  • CSCI-N 341 - Introduction to Client-side Web Programming
  • CSCI-N 342 - Server-side Programming for the Web
