President's Volunteer Service Award
The President’s Volunteer Service Award is a prestigious honor offered in recognition of sustained volunteer service.
Established in 2003, this award which is issued by the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation was created by President George W. Bush. It gives presidential recognition to individuals, families and groups who have committed their time, energy and talents to meet urgent and everyday needs in our communities. Students earning this award will receive a lapel pen, a color certificate, and a letter signed by President Trump.
This award is available on an annual basis and in order to be eligible to receive it, students must submit a record of their volunteer service.
