Dear Arts Institute Student:
We hope this letter finds you well. We are writing to share an important update about the Arts Institute at Indiana University Southeast and what these changes will mean for you.
Beginning in Summer 2026, private instruction will continue through a more flexible, instructor-led model.
As we move into this new model, there are several important changes to be aware of:
- You may continue private lessons directly with your instructor, with increased flexibility in scheduling and format.
- Instructors will set their own lesson rates and work with students independently.
- Students may still have opportunities to perform in campus venues, including studio recitals and other events (based on availability).
We encourage you to speak directly with your instructor about continuing lessons under this new structure.
We understand that the Arts Institute has been an important part of your artistic growth, and we are deeply grateful for your participation and commitment. The relationships you have built and the skills you have developed remain valuable, and we hope you will continue to pursue your passion for the arts.
