This modernized adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night; Or, What You Will, takes place on a college campus during the 1990s Y2K era. Viola is separated from her twin Sebastian on their first day at Illyria University. Eager to survive the intensity of her new environment without her brother, she dresses as a male student, and works her way into a group of popular guys on campus. She later develops a crush on a member of that group named Orsino. However, Orsino is in love with another student named Olivia and sends Viola on a mission to help him win her over. Instead, Olivia falls for Viola. As a result, the students of I.U. find themselves in a world of confusion as they sort through hidden feelings and mistaken identities.
