Research Series Establishes Need for Widespread Access to High Quality Affordable Early Care and Education in Southern Indiana

Community organizations from Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Scott, and Washington counties are collaborating to increase access to affordable high-quality early care and education (ECE). The Southern Indiana Early Learning Coalition (SoIN4Early), as they’re called, has placed public awareness at the top of their agenda. The coalition wants parents, community members, business leaders, and elected officials to understand the vital importance of the first five years for child development and future success, and to recognize how strong ECE supports today’s workforce and our regional economy.
