IU Southeast provides a broadly-based background in medical laboratory science, including specific chemistry, mathematics, and biological science requirements. You’ll learn analytical skills, clinical correlation, and technical expertise in clinical chemistry, medical microbiology, the study of blood banking, and clinical immunology.
A clinical internship at an affiliated hospital in Southern Indiana or the Louisville metropolitan area will provide you with over 500 hours of hands-on experience during your final semester.
