Biography
Dr. Yunmi Choi joined IU Southeast as an assistant professor of strategic communication after she has received her Ph.D. from the University of Florida. Her research and teaching interests include the impact of social and mobile media on advertising, international and cross-cultural advertising strategies, and advertising audience's emotional responses toward new media.
Dr. Choi has published and presented her research projects in scholarly journals (Journal of Current Issues and Research in Advertising, Electronic News, Applied Cognitive Psychology, & etc.) and academic conferences (American Academy of Advertising, the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication, & etc.)
Dr. Choi is currently teaching courses in new media, social media, creative advertising, research methods, media in the global context, and persuasion.
