Biography

Brian P. Schaefer is an Adjunct Instructor of Criminology & Criminal Justice at Indiana University Southeast. His research focuses on the role of police in society. To this end he has conducted research on body-worn cameras, procedural justice training, hot spots and pulling levers crime reduction strategies, and narcotics policing. He is currently examining the influence of misdemeanor enforcement on local criminal justice system and conducting interviews with cybercrime investigators as part of a National Science Foundation project.
