
Biography
Lisa Book, CMA, CFM, CSCA is a Lecturer in Accounting at Indiana University Southeast, where she also earned her B.S. degree in Accounting and her M.B.A. Prior to joining the faculty at IU Southeast, Lisa had a 15-year career in corporate accounting, working for such companies as FireKing Security Group and Kimball International, both manufacturing concerns, and not-for-profit Goodwill Industries.
Lisa currently serves on the Global Board of Directors of Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) as a member of the Volunteer Leadership Committee. She is also a member of IMA's Leadership Academy Faculty, in addition to serving on IMA's CMA Exam Review Committee. She served as a member of the IMA Committee on Ethics from 2012 to 2014, and is a past president of IMA’s Louisville Chapter (2013-2014) and Lincoln Trail Council (2015-2016). Lisa has given talks on a variety of topics, including most recently presenting ethics workshops to Louisville, Indianapolis, and South Central Indiana chapters, as well as delivered ethics sessions at IMA’s Annual Conference & Expo in 2015 and 2017. She co-authored article, High-Impact Mentoring, in August 2017 issue of Strategic Finance.
