Biography
Pianist Adrienne Fontenot, is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (BM Piano Pedagogy and Literature, 2002) and the University of Louisville (MM Piano Performance and Pedagogy, 2005). She studied piano with Anne May, Fay Adams, Dr. James Howsmon, and Dr. Vernon Cherrix and has participated in masterclasses with artists Wendy Chen, Ning An, Kotaro Fukuma, and 2001 Van Cliburn medalists Olga Kern, Stanislav Ioudenitch, and Maxim Philippov. Adrienne is an active member of MTNA (Music Teachers National Association) and maintains a vibrant and dynamic piano studio. She keeps busy as a collaborative pianist at the University of Louisville and in the greater Louisville area, working with young musicians from pre-school to graduate school and beyond.
