Faculty and Staff Biographies

After earning my undergraduate degree, I worked at Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati, Ohio, for several years as Consumer Marketing Manager. Subsequently, I worked for the Cincinnati Bar Association as Director of Communications. Following a hiatus from the workforce for family-related reasons, I worked for a direct marketing firm for several years, and then transitioned into higher education by teaching adjunct coursework at Ivy Tech's Sellersburg campus.

I then decided to pursue my passion for higher education through serving Ivy Tech's workforce development area for several years before coming to Indiana University Southeast as Director of Graduate Business Programs. I was promoted to Assistant Dean and was recently named Executive Director of Corporate Outreach, where my charge is to build business with corporations and organizations in the Metropolitan Louisville area by providing a portfolio of business services and leveraging university faculty, staff, and regional subject matter experts. IU Southeast provides a full array of management development seminars and certification programs, as well as supporting entrepreneurship, innovation, and professional networking events.

Academically, I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Marketing with Minors in International Business and Spanish from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. I earned my MBA from Xavier University in Cincinnati, followed by a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky.

An Ohio native, I enjoy working and living in Southern Indiana. I have three grown children, all of whom are married, and we just welcomed our third grandchild. I am active in our church's Soup Kitchen and Clothes Closet ministries, where we are privileged to serve the needy in our community.
