Biography
Dr. Andrew Rhinehart is a guitarist and music instructor who is an accomplished soloist and ensemble musician. Andrew holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in music performance from the University of Louisville where he studied classical guitar with Dr. Stephen Mattingly. In 2015, Dr. Rhinehart earned his doctorate in guitar from the University of Kentucky. During his tenure at the University of Kentucky, Dr. Rhinehart served as a teaching assistant and was a student of Dr. Dieter Hennings. Currently, Dr. Rhinehart is a faculty member at Indiana University Southeast where he teaches guitar and music theory and directs the I.U.S. Guitar Ensemble.
