Biography
Diane S. Reid, Senior Lecturer of Communication Studies, earned her M.A. from Western Kentucky University in communication with an emphasis in performance studies. She teaches courses in public speaking, interpersonal communication, oral interpretation of literature, voice and diction, discussion and group methods and organizational storytelling. Diane has been a member of the Communication Studies faculty since 1981. She has received several Trustee’s Teaching Awards, the Metroversity Outstanding Faculty for Adults Award and the Distinguished Teaching Award. Diane also conducts training workshops for local businesses in the areas of interpersonal relations and public presentations. From 2012-2015, she served as the Coordinator of Diversity for Academic Affairs.
