Professional Interests

Teaching

My expertise focuses on Buddhist Studies, Zen Buddhism, Buddhist Meditation, and Mindfulness Meditation.

Also, I am interested in the implementation of Buddhist Meditation and Compassion in Healthcare since a growing number of medical providers are practicing Buddhist meditation, utilizing innate compassion in coping with burnout, compassion fatigue, and suicide, and teaching their patients those remedies in handling individual physical and mental illnesses.

Besides, since the focal point of Buddhist psychology and Western psychology is to find effective remedies for the alleviation of human sufferings, distress, and dissatisfactory, I am interest in their parallel analysis of human emotion, cognition, behavior, and psychology.

Research

My research interests focus on Buddhist Studies, Mahayana Buddhist Tradition, Zen Buddhism, and Buddhist Meditation.
