Dr. Wert teaches an eclectic group of classes. Most of the classes he teaches are part of the Public Service Track: Public Bureaucracy in Modern Society, Public Budgeting, Public Personnel Management, and Administrative Law. He also teaches Intro to American Politics, Research Methods, the U.S. Presidency, Constitutional Law, Ethics and Public Policy, and the senior seminar. His research interests lie in the areas of public opinion and the presidency, and has published a book, “A Study of Bill Clinton’s Public Approval Ratings” (2003) and several entries in the Encyclopedia of the American Presidency. He has also published a chapter in a book on Indiana governors, along with several other articles.
