Ideally, students who intend to attend law school directly after graduating from Indiana University Southeast should plan to take the LSAT in the summer prior to the start of their senior year (i.e. the June test date). This allows students time to re-take the exam in the fall and still meet the beginning of the admissions window at most schools.
The average law school will review applications on a rolling basis. Thus, it is best to have materials in at the beginning of the application window in November or December of your senior year. All application materials must be on file with the law school before they will consider you for admission. Financial aid decisions are frequently linked to admissions decisions, enhancing the importance of early admission.
