The online RN to BSN degree completion program is designed to meet the specific needs of busy RNs who have earned an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or a diploma in nursing from an NLNAC/ACEN program who want to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Courses are offered using a variety of instructional methods to facilitate student learning and ease of degree completion. You can receive credit for prior knowledge and skills through the portfolio option, and many academic activities can be integrated into your current professional practice as an RN.

With this 100% online program, students can have the option to graduate in 12, 18, or 24 months after general education requirements are completed.

Take your RN and complete a B.S. in Nursing using this flexible curriculum created for professional nurses preparing to continue to meet the current and future health needs of society. With this 100% online program, students can have the option to graduate in 12, 18, or 24 months after general education requirements are completed.

All eight of the Indiana University School of Nursing campuses have joined together to create the RN to BSN Degree Completion Program. This means you can access distance-learning nursing courses using web-based and video technologies rather than being required to come to campus.

For information specific to you and your situation, meet with your academic advisor and find your ideal pathway to complete your degree on time.

Each semester is split into two terms, which are completed in 7-8 weeks so that you may finish up to four courses every semester. Practicums or clinical experiences are embedded into the coursework and can be tailored to your experience and career goals. Contemporary electives are meaningful to today's RN and include current topics like Informatics, Complementary Therapies, and Genetics. Courses build on your current experience, advancing your knowledge and giving you a new understanding of the field.
