The RN to BSN Online Degree Completion Program is designed for the RN with an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing (ASN) or a diploma in nursing from an NLNAC/ACEN program to earn a Bachelor of Science (BSN) degree in nursing. The program offers a flexible curriculum for the education of professional nurses competent in meeting the current and future health needs of society. All nursing classes are online with the option to graduate in 12, 18 or 24 months, after general education requirements are completed.
All eight of the Indiana University School of Nursing campuses across the state of Indiana joined to create the RN to BSN Degree Completion Program. This means that nursing courses are distance accessible, using Web-based and video technologies rather than requiring you to come to campus.
Each semester is split into two terms, which are completed in 7-8 weeks so that you may finish up to four courses every semester. Practicums or clinical experiences are embedded in didactic or lecture-based courses and can be tailored to your experience and career goals. Contemporary electives are meaningful to today's RN and include current topics like Informatics, Complementary Therapies, and Genetics.
