Kaplan Testing
The Kaplan Nursing Admissions Exam is a standardized test required for nursing program applicants. It contains 91 multiple choice questions covering four subjects: reading, writing, math, and science. Only the reading score is factored into the overall admission score: reading score is 25%, and pre-nursing GPA is 75%. Students have 2 hours and 45 minutes to take the Kaplan on the computer in the Student Success Center. Since the Kaplan is a standardized test, studying is not required. However, study guides (such as Kaplan Nursing School Entrance Exams Prep 2019-2020) are available from online retailers if you wish to prepare for the reading section.
