Facilities
Indiana University Southeast School of Nursing uses low and high fidelity simulation to teach nursing care.

Adult Simulation Lab
Students provide care to patients in the simulation laboratory allowing them to become proficient in performing complex procedures. This results in greater student confidence when providing care to patients in acute care facilities.

Recorded Simulations
Students are recorded during simulation exercises. Following the simulation exercise students are critiqued by their peers and faculty in the clinical group. Then students have the opportunity to view their personal recording and personally critique their actions.

Pediatric Simulation Lab
In the pediatric simulation room, students provide care for children while also interacting with an individual playing the role of a parent. This offers students the opportunity to practice family centered care while educating parents about childhood diseases or treatments the child is receiving. Simulation exercises are recorded and critiqued by peers, the student and faculty to make the learning experience more robust.
