Quality Marketing & Communications for Student Recruitment and Retention
The award-winning staff in the IU Southeast Office of Marketing and Communications offers strategic communication planning and marketing services for schools, departments, and offices across campus to support student recruitment and retention. The office reports to the Vice Chancellor for University Relations under the guidance of the Chancellor.
The office coordinates all advertising and marketing efforts, as well as the official social media channels for the university, and partners with UITS to provide content for the university’s website. We also promote the university through the media, sending a unified message that supports our IU 2030 Strategic Plan, focusing strongly on attracting and retaining students and supporting their success.
Marketing IU Southeast to External Audiences
IU Southeast’s Office of Marketing & Communications serves as an in-house boutique advertising agency. Our office offers services to the entire campus, including strategy development, advertising creation and production, and advertising placement.
We develop and implement research-based strategies including integrated marketing planning, message development, branding, alumni communications, and market research. The Marketing & Communications staff also provides consultation and comprehensive support for major university initiatives.
Website Content Development
Marketing & Communications partners with the UITS Experience Web Development and Delivery team to maintain the IU Southeast website. Our staff provides copy to the UITS team or reviews content that is provided for accuracy and a common voice that is then published by the UITS team. Our website is the public face of the university, designed to support recruitment and retention of students.
