Biography
I returned "home" to Southern Indiana and the IU Southeast School of Education in August 2003. I "grew up" in Clarksville, graduated from IU Southeast when it was in Jeffersonville, and taught in the Greater Clark County Schools before I left the area in 1983. After I finished my Ed.D. at IU Bloomington I moved to Kentucky where I served in various school administration roles: elementary principal, consultant with the Kentucky Department of Education, director of planning and budget, and superintendent of schools. I retired in 2002 but after a year of rest I was ready to go back to work. I was hired to teach Educational Leadership courses and serve as the program coordinator. After several years I moved into two roles: NCATE and Assessment Coordinator and Graduate Director. In 2015 I decided to move back to my first love: TEACHING.
